The Fosse Way
As we continue northwards, we approach the roundabout with the ex A34 (now A3400). A slightly blurry shot, but it illustrates how the old and new routes deviate on the approach to this roundabout. The new road bends to the left then to the right as it approaches the roundabout, giving a better roundabout design. The original line of the Fosse Way can be seen in this shot continuing straight through the gap between the trees.
