The Cornish Coast

Kennack Sands

Another view of the main entrance to the west beach, together with the access road. The road is particularly narrow on the hill down to the beach. If static caravans are your thing, then there is a caravan park at the top of the hill.

It was at this beach that a funny thing occured. My son is prone to seeing people that look like other people we know and then telling everyone that he he has seen that person. Almost without exception, it turns out that he is mistaken. Not this time. Whilst I was in the beach shop on the left hand side, he came into the shop saying that he had seen a friend from home (350 miles away) drive by. I dismissed this idea as usual, but was proved wrong when we saw their family on the beach about 20 minutes later!
