The A74 in 1974

There are two maps shown on this page. The first details the original section of the M74 through Lanarkshire. This remains as it was in 1972.



In 1974, we see some more changes to the Cumberland Gap section as the A74 is dualled between the end of the M6 and Metal Bridge. To see this section completed, go on to 1975.
