A74 and M74 Strip Maps

The A74 in 1986
Moving on just one year from 1985, things begin to change in the middle section. As ever, we start at the north end with the original section of the M74 through Lanarkshire, which last changed in 1985.
In the next two sectionms, we see some significant alterations since 1985 - construction of the M74 extension south towards Abington has now begun, together with diversions of some of the A roads that cross the future M74. .
No change on the next extract since 1985, (in fact, nothing since 1980...
The completed Cumberland Gap section also remains as it was in 1980.
