A74 and M74 Strip Maps

The A74 / M74 in 1988
Moving on one more year from 1987, things continue to develop. As ever, we start at the north end with the original section of the M74 through Lanarkshire, which last changed in 1985. Finally, in 1988, the junctions have been renumbered on the original motorway.
Only a minor change since 1987 - the M74 extension south towards Abington is now complete to the A70.
No change on the next extract since 1985, in fact, nothing since 1980...
The completed Cumberland Gap section also remains as it was in 1980.
