A74 and M74 Strip Maps

The A74 / M74 in 1992

It's only a year since 1991 but that year has resulted in some of the biggest changes to the M74 corridor. Starting in the north, the extension of the M74 into Glasgow is now under construction. Then the motorway continues south to the A70 as it did before.





Here, the extension south towards Beattock is under construction as well.




Still reliant on 1980 for the next bit...


But there is a new extract now as we pass the town of Lockerbie. The reason? The A74 is being converted into the A74(M) from Kirkpatrick to Gretna.
